Engine 98 is a 2008 KME Predator pumper. Offering seating for 7 firefighters, powered by a Cummings ISL 400 Diesel, and an Allison World Transmission. It has a Hale QMAX 2000 GPM pump. 750 gallons of water and 60 gallons of 1-3% AFFF, which is piped to the front bumper line via a 125 GPM around the pump eductor. The hose load consists of 150’ of 1 ¾ “ hose with a TFT automatic nozzle. In addition, the pumper has three Mattydale single stack 2” pre connected hand lines set up as 2ea. @ 150’ and 1ea @ 200’ all with smooth bore 1 1/8” tip nozzles. All hose loads are ergonomically arranged to ease pulling of the lines. |

The rear hose bed of the engine has also been lowered by utilizing an L-shaped tank. The main hose bed consists of a 3” tail gun line, 3” set back line, 2 additional 2” single stack hose lines, 1200’ of 5” LDH, along with a 200’ 2 ½” preconnect with an automatic nozzle. |

Engine 98
- Engine 98 is a 1992 KME Triple Combination Pumper Offering a 10 man cab, 1500 gpm pump with 750 gallon water tank. It carries 100 gallons of 3/6 universal AFFF, which can flow through a pre connected hand line, or via a deck pipe. In addition the engine has three Mattydale pre connects, a front trash line, two 2" rear pre connects, a three-inch tail gun and a 3" set back line, one 2-1/2 pre connected along with 1100 feet of 5 inch supply line and a multitude of hand tools and appliances. Straight Bore and Automatic nozzles compliment the vehicle with various Class A equipment. The engine Company responds to 3 different oroughs other than its own. Engine 98 and its dedicated members respond to more than 400 alarms per year.

Rescue 98
- Rescue 98 is a 1998 Emergency One Cyclone II, 10 man cab Heavy Rescue. It is equipped with Hurst HRT equipment, a 40 Kw generator, a 9000 watt telescoping light tower, and a 6000 PSI cascade system. The Rescue Company plays a key role in a county wide Technical Rescue Team. Rescue Company 98 performs Trench, Confined Space, Vehicle, Rope and High Angle, Structural Collapse and Scuba Rescue. The Rescue responds to 3 communities other than its own, acting as first due rescue company, a truck company and a R.I.T. [Rapid Intervention Team]. Rescue Company 98 and its dedicated members respond to over 400 runs per year.
